## Lernen mit allen Sinnen

Beim Ertasten mit Händen und Mund erfährt Kristóf, wie sich das glatte Holz und der raue Klettstreifen anfühlen. Er spürt das Gewicht in seinen Händen und merkt, dass die Frucht davonrollen kann. Er hört den Klang, den die Holzfrucht macht, wenn sie auf den Boden schlägt. Auf dem Parkett tönt es anders als auf dem Teppich. Die Frucht lässt sich mit einer oder mit beiden Händen halten. Sie kann auf dem Bauch oder dem Rücken liegend erkundet werden. Auch die eigene Stimme hört Kristóf, wenn er seine Erkundungen mit Lauten begleitet. Er lernt, indem er vielfältige Wahrnehmungen, die er durch seinen Körper und all seine Sinne erfährt, verarbeitet. Er ist motorisch, emotional und geistig aktiv.

Zwischendurch wandert sein Blick zu der Mutter und den Brüdern. Auch die Kamera nimmt er wahr. Doch er ist so vertieft in seine Erkundungen, dass er sich weder durch das Geschehen um ihn herum, noch durch das Davonrollen der Holzfrucht davon abhalten lässt. Von Geburt an versuchen Kinder mit all ihrer Energie und mit allen Sinnen, die Zusammenhänge der Welt um sie herum zu „be-greifen“. Mit welcher Freude und wie motiviert sie dies tun, wird an Kristófs zufriedenem und konzentriertem Gesichtsausdruck deutlich.

## Physisches und psychisches Wohlbefinden

Faszinierend, wie ausdauernd und konzentriert Kristóf die Holzfrucht erkundet. Er wirkt ausgeruht und zufrieden. Seine körperlichen Bedürfnisse sind gestillt: Er ist ausgeschlafen, fühlt sich satt, hat saubere Windeln an und ist so angezogen, dass er weder zu warm noch zu kalt hat. Zudem hat er in den praktischen Kleidern genügend Bewegungsfreiheit, um sich zu drehen und zu kriechen, ohne dass es irgendwo drückt oder ihn einengt. Kristóf fühlt sich sichtlich wohl in der vertrauten Umgebung. Die Stimmen seiner Mutter und der Brüder geben ihm die nötige Sicherheit, um sich vertieft seinem Spiel zu widmen. Er weiss: „Wenn ich sie brauche, ist meine Mama für mich da.“ Diese Sicherheit ist es, die es Kristóf ermöglicht, seinem Bedürfnis nach Autonomie und nach Anregung nachzugehen und die Holzfrucht ausgiebig zu erkunden.

## Anregungsreiche Lernumgebungen

Noch interessiert sich Kristóf nicht dafür, was genau dieser rote, halbrunde Gegenstand mit der glatten Oberfläche darstellt. Und die Mutter hat erkannt, dass die Holzfrucht sich nicht nur für das Rollenspiel der älteren Söhne eignet, sondern auch für Kristóf spannend zu erkunden ist. Die Frucht hat keine gefährlichen Kanten und Ecken und lässt sich nicht verschlucken. Dafür bietet sie viele interessante Eigenschaften wie etwa die Rundungen, die sie rollen lassen, den Klettverschluss, der einen Kontrast zu der glatten Holzoberfläche bietet, oder die knallrote Farbe, welche Kristóf ebenfalls anzusprechen scheint. Die Frucht liegt in seinem Blickfeld auf dem Boden, wo er sie gut erreichen kann. Zudem ist genügend Platz vorhanden, damit er sich auf den Rücken drehen oder der wegrollenden Frucht auf allen Vieren nachkriechen kann. Eine anregende und sichere Lernumgebung, die Kristóf das vertiefte Erkunden und Experimentieren ermöglicht!

## Learning with all their senses

Using thesense of touch in his hands and mouth, Kristóf feels the smoothness of the wood and the roughness of the Velcro strip. He feels the weight of the wooden toy and notices that it can roll away. He hears the sound that the wooden toy makes when it hits the floor. It sounds different on the parquet flooring than on the carpet. The toy can be held with one hand or both hands. Kristóf can explore it when he is on his stomach or when he is lying on his back. Kristóf also hears his own voice as he makes sounds when investigating the toy. He learns by processing the many different perceptions through all of the senses. He is active physically, emotionally and mentally.

Now and again he glances at his mother and brothers. He also sees the camera. But he is so absorbed in his explorations that neither the happenings around him nor the rolling away of the toy deter him. From birth on, children try with all of their energy and all of their senses to grasp the world around them. Their pleasure and the strength of their motivation is plain to see in Kristóf‘s happy and concentrating facial expression.

## Physical and emotional well-being

It is fascinating to see Kristóf’s persistence and concentration as he examines the wooden toy. He seems well-rested and content. His physical needs have been met: he has had a good sleep, has been fed, is wearing clean diapers and is dressed such that he feels neither too warm nor cold. His practical clothing also gives him enough freedom of movement to turn over and crawl comfortably and without feeling constricted. He obviously feels very comfortable in the familiar surroundings. The voices of his mother and brothers give him the security that he needs to be able to engage deeply in his play. He knows that if he needs her, his mother is there for him. It is this security that makes it possible for Kristóf to fulfill his need for autonomy and stimulation and to explore the wooden toy extensively.

## Stimulating learning environment

Kristóf is not yet interested in what this red, half-rounded object with its smooth surface represents. And his mother recognizes that the wooden fruit toy is not only appropriate for her older sons to use in role play but also interesting for Kristóf to explore. The toy has no dangerous edges or corners, and it cannot be swallowed. It has lots of interesting characteristics such as curves that allow it to roll, a piece of Velcro that offers a contrast to the smoothness of the wooden surface and a bright red color, which Kristóf also seems to find attractive. The toy lies in his field of vision on the floor, where he can reach it. Also, there is enough space for him to roll over on his back or to crawl after the toy when it rolls away. This is a stimulating and safe learning environment that allows Kristóf to engage in deep exploration and experimentation.

## Apprendre avec tous les sens

En faisant l’expérience du toucher avec ses mains et sa bouche, Kristóf ressent le contact du bois lisse et de la bande velcro rugueuse. Il ressent le poids dans ses mains et remarque que le fruit peut tomber et rouler. Il entend le bruit que fait le fruit en bois quand il tombe par terre. Sur le parquet et sur le tapis, cela ne fait pas le même bruit. On peut saisir le fruit avec une seule main ou avec les deux. On peut l’explorer en étant allongé sur le ventre ou sur le dos. Kristóf entend aussi sa propre voix quand il accompagne son exploration de sons. Il apprend en travaillant sur diverses perceptions qu’il recense par l’intermédiaire de son corps et de tous ses sens. Il est actif à la fois sur les plans moteur, émotionnel et psychique.

De temps en temps son regard chemine vers la mère et ses frères. Il perçoit aussi la présence de l’appareil photo. Mais il est si absorbé par son exploration qu’il ne se laisse distraire ni par l’activité autour de lui ni par le roulement du fruit en bois. Dès leur naissance, les enfants essaient de saisir de toute leur énergie et de tous leurs sens le monde qui les entoure. Leur joie et leur motivation sont manifestes dans l’expression du visage de Kristóf, à la fois satisfaite et concentrée.

## Bien-être physique et psychique

La persévérance et la concentration de Kristóf dans son exploration du fruit en bois sont fascinantes. Il a l’air reposé et content. Ses besoins corporels sont satisfaits: il a eu son compte de sommeil, est rassasié, sa couche est propre et il porte des vêtements ni trop chauds ni trop froids, et qui lui laissent suffisamment de liberté de mouvement pour se retourner et pour ramper, sans qu’il se sente serré. Kristóf se sent visiblement bien dans un environnement familier. Les voix de sa mère et de ses frères lui donnent la sécurité nécessaire pour se consacrer pleinement à son jeu. Il sait que s’il a besoin de sa maman, elle est là. C’est cette sécurité qui permet à Kristóf de satisfaire son besoin d’autonomie et de sollicitations, et d’explorer amplement le fruit en bois.

## Un environnement d’apprentissage plein de stimulations

Kristóf ne se demande pas encore ce que représente cet objet rouge, semi-sphérique, à la surface lisse. Et la mère a bien vu que le fruit en bois ne se prête pas seulement au jeu de rôles des deux frères aînés, mais qu’il peut être passionnant comme objet de découverte pour Kristóf. Le fruit n’a pas d’arêtes ou d’angles dangereux et on ne peut pas l’avaler. Mais il a de nombreuses caractéristiques intéressantes, comme la rotondité, qui lui permet de rouler, la bande velcro, qui crée un contraste avec la surface lisse du bois, ou encore la couleur rouge vif, qui a également l’air de plaire à Kristóf. Le fruit est par terre, dans son champ de vision, il peut facilement l’atteindre. Il y a de plus suffisamment de place pour qu’il puisse se tourner sur le dos ou qu’il puisse ramper après le fruit s’il lui échappe. Voilà un environnement d’apprentissage stimulant et sûr qui permet à Kristóf l’exploration et l’expérimentation approfondie.

## Apprendere con tutti i sensi

Nell’esplorare con le mani e con la bocca Kristòf fa l’esperienza del liscio del legno e della rudezza delle strisce di velcro. In mano sente il peso e avverte che il frutto potrebbe rotolare per terra. Sente il suono del frutto di legno quando cade a terra. La sonorità è diversa sul pavimento in legno rispetto a quella sul tappeto. E’ possibile tenere il frutto con una o con due mani.

E’ possibile esplorare il frutto stando sulla pancia, oppure sulla schiena. Kristòf sente i propri sensi nel momento in cui accompagna le sue esplorazioni con piccole sonorità. Impara in quanto rielabora le numerose percezioni rilevate attraverso il suo corpo. E’ attivo dal punto di vista motorio, emotivo e mentale.

Nel frattempo rivolge il suo sguardo alla mamma e ai fratelli. Avverte anche la presenza della videocamera. E’ talmente immerso nella sua attività esplorativa che non presta attenzione ne’ a ciò che avviene attorno, ne’ al frutto che rotola lontano. Sin dalla nascita i bambini cercano di comprendere le relazioni che caratterizzano il mondo che li circonda con tutte le loro forze e con i loro sensi. L’espressione facciale concentrata di Kristòf evidenzia lo stato di gioia, di motivazione e di appagamento con cui svolge l’attività.

## Stato di benessere psichico e fisico

E’ affascinante vedere con quanta concentrazione e con quale continuità Kristòf esplora il frutto di legno. Sembra riposato e contento. Le sue esigenze fisiche sono soddisfatte: ha finito di dormire e si sente appagato, i pannolini sono puliti ed è vestito in modo tale da non avere ne’ troppo caldo, ne’ troppo freddo. Oltre a ciò, l’abbigliamento gli consente di muoversi, di girarsi, di strisciare senza sentire impedimenti di sorta. Kristòf si sente visibilmente a suo agio nell’ambiente nel quale si trova.

Le voci di sua mamma e del fratello gli danno sufficiente sicurezza per potersi immergere nel suo gioco. Lui sa che: „Se io ho bisogno di lei, la mia mamma è qui per me.“ E’ questa sicurezza che conferisce a Kristòf la possibilità di dare seguito al suo bisogno di autonomia e alle sue esigenze di esplorare in modo esauriente il frutto di legno.

## Ambiente di apprendimento stimolante

Kristòf non si interessa ancora a ciò che rappresenta quell’oggetto rosso semisferico con la superficie liscia. La madre ha visto che, per i fratelli più grandi, il frutto di legno non è adatto al gioco di ruolo, ma che per Kristòf è adatto per l’attività esplorativa. Il frutto non presenta spigoli e angoli pericolosi e non può essere ingoiato.

Il frutto presenta varie interessanti proprietà, come, ad esempio, la rotondità che consente il rotolamento, la chiusura a strappo che è in contrasto con la superficie liscia, o il colore rosso vivo che sembra richiamare l’attenzione di Kristòf. Il frutto si trova sul pavimento nel suo campo visivo dove lo può raggiungere. Contemporaneamente usufruisce di uno spazio sufficiente per potersi girare sulla schiena, o per seguire a carponi il frutto mentre rotola. Quello descritto è un ambiente stimolante e sicuro che consente a Kristòf di esplorare e di sperimentare!
